An incredibly challenging project to refurbish the main tower block at Bedford College saw CCC working together with a number of trades to ensure the project was completed within the college summer holidays.

With £850k worth of work undertaken, this project saw the Cheshire team working every hour they could to complete the project, ready for the return of the students in September.

We even managed to provide some ‘on the job’ training for our new apprentice Matthew Sampson who has joined us from TrAC, our new training partner.

“I just wanted to thank you all for a superb effort over the past 36 hours.  Everybody worked very long hours without breaks and maintained good cheer at all times.  The teams worked very well together and it was a pleasure to be involved with such a dedicated group of people.   I know that most staff at the college will be unaware about herculean task that was undertaken yesterday but I can assure you that without your efforts; the outcome would have been a complete mess.  A special mention must go to the Cheshire team who worked until 03:30 this morning – exceptional.”
